Apple’s rumored “iPhone 5se” may come in Silver, Space Gray and a shade of pink that is different than the ROse Gold of the iPhone 6s.

The cited information was reportedly obtained by the Japanese site Mac Otakara from a third-party vendor. The site compared the pink of shade to that of the seventh-generation iPad nano and six-generation iPod Touch, which is akin to a deep pink that is much brighter than the Rose Gold iPhone 6s. It should be noted that the information is all second-hand as no one was able to see the shade of pink firsthand, leaving the exact tone to remain unknown. What we do know is that it will not be the same color as the iPhone 6s.

Similar rumors surfaced when everyone was speculating information about the release of the iPhone 6s but it turned out that the “pink” that was referenced was the Rose Gold. If the recent rumor turns out to be true, it would be one that would help to make a clear distinction between Rose Gold and a deeper pink shade so its unlikely that the vendor is making the same mistake.

There were other potential unmentioned colors for the iPhone 5se but the notion of a Space Grey, Silver and Bright Pink color lineup doesn’t seem very likely. There are several possibilities that there would be other color options in the product lineup if the Bright Pink does turn out to be true.

With the possibility of the iPhone 5se being just over a month away with a potential unveiling at a March 15 event, its likely that we will hear a lot more infromation about the device including part leaks or more concrete detail that gives us a better picture of the colors that everyone can expect. Other information right now consists of the iPhone 5se being styled as an iPhone 5s with the curved cover glass of the iPhone 6, an A( processor, Touch ID and an 8-megapixel camera.

We’ll have to wait for more concrete information to be released. In the meantime, would you be in the market for a bright pink iPhone 5se if one was released?
