Halo 5 Forge will be coming to PC on September 8th, allowing PC gamers to design maps and play custom matches with up to 16 friends.
The release of Halo 5: Forge on PC will come with the highly anticipated Anvil’s Legacy free content update, which will add a lot of new content to Halo 5: Forge as well as add several new maps, weapons and features to Forge.
The PC system requirements for Halo 5: Forge has been released, requiring a quad-core CPU, 8GB of RAM and 40GB of hard drive space. At a minimum, gamers will require a GTX 650Ti or higher and require a GTX 970 for 1080p 60FPS gameplay and a GTX 980Ti for 4K 60FPS gameplay.
At this time we do not know if Microsoft has plans to release Halo 5: Guardians on the PC, but at a minimum, this release means that Halo 5’s multiplayer is functional on the platform and that the game’s engine has already been brought over to PC.
