Huawei, the third-largest smartphone brand in the world has released many impressive smartphones in the last couple of months and has managed to raise its profits. Now, the company has announced yet another impressive smartphone called as Huawei Y6 Pro, which is the global variant of the Huawei Enjoy 5 that launched last year. The Huawei Y6 Pro is a mid-range smartphone and is currently listed on the company’s official website without mentioning the pricing and availability details. The Y6 Pro is the successor of the Huawei Y6 that was recently launched in the Philippines with entry-level specifications.

Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Y6 Pro flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and Asahi DragonTrail glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 laid on top out of the box.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and can also record videos in 1080p resolution at 30fps. On the front, it has a 5MP snapper for video chats and selfie lovers. It comes with 16GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.

The handset comes backed by a massive 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 39 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback, 15 hours of Internet surfing and also supports Quick Charging. The device can also charge other devices with the reverse charging support. The smartphone feels luxurious in hand with a metal frame around its sides and water-wave design. The dimensions of the handset measure 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm weighs around 160 grams and comes in Gold, White and Grey color options. The smartphone features 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 4G-LTE support, 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge support and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
