Apple may finally be adding more RAM to its devices. The company has historically kept RAM information under wraps, but a new benchmark suggests the iPhone 7 Plus comes with 3GB on board. That’s bringing it more up to speed with what’s offered in iPads and competing products from Android manufacturers.

The additional RAM paired with the new faster A10 Fusion processor suggests that Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus is indeed faster than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro in some tests, according to9to5Mac. That tablet packs an A9X processor and 4GB of RAM, so we’re looking at a pretty fierce A10 Fusion chip. Also, by comparison, the iPhone 6s Plus offers 2GB of RAM.
