The small Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Leagoo has launched many impressive smartphones in the recent times all in the affordable segment. Today, the company has officially announced its first flagship smartphone called as Leagoo Shark 1. The device comes with a large display, massive battery and features all the specifications required in a premium smartphone.The Shark 1 is currently listed on the company’s official website without any pricing details and is expected to go on sale soon.

Talking about the specifications, the Leagoo Shark 1 features a large phablet sized 6-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display offering a pixel density of 368ppi with 2.5D arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. It is worth mentioning that the display of the Shark 1 is supplied by LG. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

It comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 64GB. On the camera part, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with Sony BSI sensors, f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash to capture crisp images in any lighting conditions. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter accompanied with LED flash for video chats and stunning selfie clicks. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.

The main USP device is the massive 6300mAh battery that can last upto 72 hours of talk time, 49 hours of music playback, 25 hours of video playback and 770 hours of standby time. The device also supports LGQC 3.0 Quick Charging with the provided 3A charger and boasts the battery to full in just 3 hours. The smartphone also supports reverse charging and can charge other devices with the provided OTG support.

The smartphone features a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear side of the device that can unlock the device in just 0.39 seconds. The device also features an IR blaster and can act as Universal Remote to control the home appliances. It sports premium looks and even with these specificatios it is very slim measuring just 8.5 mm thickness and weighs around 241 grams. The Leagoo Shark 1 will be a good competitor for the likes of Ulefone Power that comes with similar specifications at an affordable price point.
