A phone that does not break has been a dream for a whole lot of us. Motorola has come out with Moto X Force, which claims to be just that.

The phone was first showcased in US about a couple of months ago and is also known as Droid Turbo 2.

Motorola has put up a teaser video on Twitter that showcases the smartphone’s ruggedness & sturdiness and compares it to other flagships. Earlier a report had suggested that the phone will debut India in January 2016. There is no official date for the launch but we expect it to happen soon. As far as the price of Moto X Force is concerned some reports are touting that it will be priced close to Rs 50,000.

What does it offer?

There’s more to the Moto X Force than a supposedly shatterproof screen as it packs a 5.4-inch QHD AMOLED display, much like the Moto X Style. It should be powerful too, thanks to an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM.

Photo fans will be pleased to hear there’s a 21MP rear camera and a 5MP wide-angle front-facing snapper. Besides, there’ll be room to store plenty of shots, as there’s 32 or 64GB of built in storage, plus support for microSD cards of up to 2TB.

The Moto X Force is also built to last in more ways than one. Apart from being shatterproof, it supposedly has battery life of up to 48 hours from its large 3760mAh juice pack; and with TurboPower charging can get up to 13 hours of life from a 15-minute charge.

Earlier in the year, we have seen Motorola split the Moto X brand in to two and offer the Moto X Style and the Moto X Play.

Priced at Rs 18,499 (for 16 GB), Moto X Play delivers 48 hour battery life, has a water-repellent design, 5.5-inch HD display, 21MP rear camera and Snapdragon processor. The 32GB costs Rs 19,999. On the other hand, the Moto X Style sports a larger 5.7-inch display, a 5MP front camera with wide-angle lens and selfie flash, while round the back you’ll find the same 21MP rear snapper as the X Play.

It also boasts TurboPower, giving you 10 hours of use from just 15 minutes of charging. Motorola claims it’s the ‘world’s fastest charging smartphone. The phone is available for Rs 29,999 for 29,999 for 16GB and 31,999 for 32GB.

Both of these have received a heart warming response on Flipkart so far and now with the coming of the Moto X – Force, they will have another addition in the franchisee.
