Honor 6X features a dual rear camera setup and will compete with Coolpad Cool 1 smartphone

Honor 6X, the latest dual-rear camera sporting smartphone will launch in India later today. The device will be available exclusively on Amazon India and is expected to be priced around Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000.

Honor 6X is the successor to Honor 5X, which was launched last year. Honor 6X was recently announced at Consumer Electronics Show 2017 and it features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display with company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor. The smartphone was launched in two different storage variants – 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4GB RAM, 64GB storage.

Honor 6X sports a 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The primary camera supports features like shallow depth of field and refocusing ability after the picture is shot. Like company’s Honor 8 smartphone, the Honor 6X will also offer monochrome mode via filter. There is also an 8MP front camera for selfies with support for 1080p video recording.

Apart from the dual rear cameras, the Honor 6X also comes with a 3340mAh battery with support for fast charging. The device offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs EMUI 4.1, which is based on Android Marshmallow.
