“The LeEco Pro 3 will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and will come in two different configurations”
Rumours regarding LeEco’s upcoming flagship dubbed the LeEco Pro 3 have already been making the rounds, and some new information has surfaced which report that a higher-end variant of the Pro 3 is also in tow.
As per the leak, the device will ship in two different variants of 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage with both being powered by the upcoming Snadragon 821 SoC. However, that is where the similarities apparently end as the leak suggests that the higher-end variant will pack a 5.7-inch 2K display while the base variant will sport full HD resolution across a 5.5-inch screen. In the camera department, the 8GB RAM variant will offer a 13MP dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP selfie shooter, compared to the 16MP primary camera and 8MP secondary snapper of the 6GB model. Contradicting the earlier leak, it looks like the lower-specced variant won’t feature a 5,000mAh battery after all and will instead be fuelled by a smaller 4,070mAh unit. The 8GB variant will reportedly come equipped with the 5,000mAh battery, fitted into a slim 7mm body.
As for the pricing, the lower end model will reportedly carry a price tag of 2,x99 Yuan (the x signifies the price could range between 2,099 Yuan to 2,999 Yuan) with users having to shell out 3,x99 Yuan for the higher-end model. Both the smartphones are expected to make a debut during LeEco’s product launch event on September 21st in China.
