The BlackBerry KEYone was recently launched at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. The company did not reveal about the global release date or availability of the BlackBerry KEYone, however, maintained that the smartphone will be available in select markets from April 2017. The availability of the KEYone in the Indian market will be much later, around June 2017.

However, an E-commerce website in India has leaked the price at which the BlackBerry KEYone will be available in the Indian market. The price, though, could simply be a placeholder for when BlackBerry launches the KEYone in India and officially announces the price. The website has listed the price of the BlackBerry KEYone at Rs. 39,999 along with EMI option and a 12-month warranty offer.

The BlackBerry KEYone, which was launched at MWC , features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 1620 x 1080 px resolution. BlackBerry has retained its physical keyboard trend with the KEYone. The KEYone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with an octa-core processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The BlackBerry KEYone also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the microSD expandable storage will be of up to 256GB.

As far as cameras are concerned, the primary camera has a 12 MP 1/2.3″ sensor with a 1.55µm pixel size, while the front-facing camera has an 8 MP sensor. The BlackBerry KEYone is powered by a non-removable Li-ion 3505 mAh battery, which supports QuickCharge 3.0 with Blackberry’s “Boost Charging” feature. Among other features, the KEYone will have an accelerometer, gyroscope and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor which is integrated with the space bar.

While the E-commerce website has revealed the price of the BlackBerry KEYone, it will be interesting to see if the claim falls in line with the actual price when the phone is released.
